Employment and Labour Law Reporter Publishes an Article by Kate Shao on Preferential Treatment of WSIB

Hicks Morley’s Kate Shao authored an article in Employment and Labour Law Reporter titled “Appellate Court Finds Preferential Treatment of WSIB Claimants in Workplace not Discriminatory.” The article discusses the recent decision of the Ontario Divisional Court on Carter v. FCA Canada Inc and Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario which affirms that differential treatment between employees with work-related injuries and employees with non-work-related injuries is not discriminatory under the Ontario Human Rights Code.
