We are currently seeking a lawyer with demonstrated eDiscovery case management experience to join our Toronto office. The e-discovery lawyer will lead the firm’s eDiscovery case support services and technologies. The individual will be involved with the identification, collection and document review of litigation files that are appropriate for eDiscovery and will be the liaison between the responsible lawyers and clients on eDiscovery file management. The individual will work with the firm’s outside vendors, forensic experts and eDiscovery consultants as necessary in overseeing document processing and production. They will also be responsible for continuously enhancing the firm’s eDiscovery processes as well as training lawyers and students on eDiscovery platforms and protocols.
The successful candidate must have a demonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously. They will have significant experience with eDiscovery document review platforms and technologies. They must have excellent interpersonal skills and a client-service orientation. Sound judgment, strong oral and written communication skills and excellent problem-solving skills are required in this role.
