Alyssa Jagt, a lawyer in Hicks Morley’s Toronto office, provides practical and strategic advice on a wide-range of labour and employment issues. She also represents clients in human rights complaints, grievance arbitrations, wrongful dismissal claims, labour injunctions, employment standards complaints and employment contract disputes.
Alyssa received her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University. While studying at Queen’s, she worked at the Queen’s Business Law Clinic as a student caseworker, and worked as a student editor on the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal. Prior to attending law school, Alyssa completed her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree at Queen’s Smith School of Business. Alyssa continued to be involved with the School of Business while in law school, as a Research Assistant in the field of Organizational Behaviour, and as a Teaching Assistant for courses in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations. Alyssa summered and articled with the firm before returning as an associate in 2019.
