Caitlin Morin is a pension and benefits lawyer in Hicks Morley’s Toronto office. She advises both public and private sector employers and plan administrators on regulatory, governance, and compliance matters affecting pension, retirement, and group benefit plans. She assists clients with ongoing pension plan administration and governance as well as member communications. She also advises clients on employment issues related to compensation and benefits.
Caitlin’s advice on pensions is informed by her work experience with a public sector pension plan. Caitlin regularly assists clients with plan documentation, day-to-day pension plan administration for both defined benefit and defined contribution plans, and governance issues.
Prior to joining Hicks Morley, Caitlin practiced in the pension and employment group at a large Canadian law firm. Most recently, she worked in-house as a policy and legal advisor to one of Canada’s largest public sector pension plans.
