Biography
Sarah Maude is a labour and employment lawyer in Hicks Morley’s Toronto office. She offers advice and representation to employers and management in the public and the private sectors on a wide range of labour, employment and human rights issues. Her work includes grievance arbitrations, human rights and accommodation, employment standards, and workplace health and safety.
Sarah obtained her Juris Doctor from Western University, graduating with distinction. While at Western, she actively participated in labour law moots and worked as a legal research assistant for Professor Stephen Pitel. She also worked as an intern for Western’s Dispute Resolution Centre and was a staff editor with the Western Journal of Legal Studies.
Prior to law school, Sarah obtained her Bachelor of Arts and Science from McMaster University. Sarah articled with Hicks Morley before returning in 2022 as an associate.
