Biography
Stephanie McLoughlin is a labour and employment lawyer at Hicks Morley’s Toronto office. She provides advice and representation to employers and management in both the private and public sectors on a wide range of labour, employment, and human rights issues including grievance arbitrations, labour disputes, wrongful dismissal actions, human rights and accommodation, and employment standards. Stephanie also routinely reviews and revises clients’ internal policies, handbooks and workplace contracts in a strategic capacity.
Stephanie received her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University. While studying at Queen’s, she competed in the National Labour Arbitration Moot, placing first, and was awarded the Lenczner Slaght LLP Advocacy in Moots Award. She was also Co-President of the Queen’s Law Cancer Society, and represented her class at Convocation as Valedictorian. Prior to law school, Stephanie received a Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude, high honours) from Butler University. Stephanie summered and articled at the firm before returning as an associate in 2019.
