Summer Student, Queen's
Alyssa Jagt recently completed her second year of the J.D. program at Queen’s University. Prior to attending law school, she completed a Bachelor of Commerce (honours) degree at Queen’s Smith School of Business. Alyssa continues to be involved with the School of Business while in law school as a Research Assistant in the field of Organizational Behaviour, and as a Teaching Assistant for ‘Intro to Human Resource Management’.
In her second year, Alyssa worked at the Queen’s Business Law Clinic as a student caseworker, where she had the opportunity to draft employment contracts for a not-for-profit organization in Kingston. She also worked as a student editor on the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal, and was Co-President of the Queen’s Labour and Employment Law Club.
