Jamie Burns completed the J.D. Program at Queen’s University. She received her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University and her Occupational Health and Safety Certificate from Ryerson University.
Prior to law school, Jamie worked as the Assistant Consultant – Injury Prevention for an occupational health and safety consulting firm, where she assisted companies in developing and implementing their health and safety programs.
While in law school, Jamie was the Managing Editor of Production for the Queen’s Law Journal. She was also involved with the Queen’s Family Law Clinic as a Student Caseworker and a Clinic Mentor. Additionally, she was involved in various capacities in student government as a representative of her year, she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, and she served as a Teaching Assistant.
In her spare time, Jamie enjoys playing board games, cheering on the Raptors, and reading a good mystery novel.
