Jessica Herfst has completed her second year in the Dual JD program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Prior to law school, Jessica received an Honours Bachelor of Arts with distinction in Psychology from the University of Windsor.
While at school, she represented clients in a variety of matters while volunteering with Community Legal Aid in Windsor as well as the William Booth Legal Aid Clinic in Detroit. Jessica has been recognized for her oral advocacy skills through several moot court competitions including the Hicks Morley Moot and the Walsh Family Law Moot. Additionally, she was selected to be a member of the Moot Court Board of Advocates at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.
In her free time, she enjoys trying new recipes, staying active, and learning to play piano.
