Jordynne Hislop

Biography

Jordynne has completed her second year of the J.D. program at the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University.  Prior to law school, she received her Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies in Human Resource Management from Western University.

In her second year, Jordynne was a student caseworker at Lakehead University Community Legal Services.  In this role she had the opportunity to advocate on behalf of low-income individuals in Minor Criminal and Provincial Offence matters as well as Residential Tenancy disputes.  Jordynne also worked as a Dean’s Fellow for Contract Law and enjoyed volunteer roles with the Lakehead Law Journal and the Ontario Justice Education Network.  Jordynne is active in student government at her school and was elected as a 1L Representative on the Law Students’ Society in her first year and President during her second year.

During her spare time, Jordynne enjoys staying active, cooking, and listening to true crime podcasts.
