Michael Babe

Michael Babe is a labour and employment lawyer with Hicks Morley’s Ottawa office. He provides advice and representation to management in both the public and private sectors on a broad range of labour, employment and human rights matters. Michael has experience with wrongful dismissal claims, human rights complaints and labour disputes.

Michael has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and various administrative tribunals, including federal and provincial labour relations boards and human rights tribunals.

Michael received his Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario, where he was a supervisor at Western’s community legal aid clinic. Michael attended the University of Ottawa for his undergraduate studies. Prior to joining Hicks Morley, Michael practised labour and employment law in Ottawa.
