Biography
Stefani Avila is a recent graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law Common Law Program. Prior to attending law school, she received her bachelor’s degree in business management and organizational studies with a specialization in legal studies from Western University, where she graduated on the Dean’s list.
Stefani is passionate about giving back to the community through volunteer work. She has carried this passion through to law school where she volunteered with Able2, through Pro Bono Students Canada, to make legal services accessible for Ontarians living with disabilities. Stefani spent her 2L summer working at Hicks Morley where she gained valuable hands-on experience working in labour and employment.
Outside of work, Stefani enjoys spending time outdoors exploring the city, trying out new recipes, and searching for new records to grow her vinyl collection.
