We Welcome Associate Courtney March to Hicks Morley
Hicks Morley is pleased to announce that Courtney March has joined the firm as a labour and employment lawyer in our Ottawa office.
Courtney advises on all aspects of the employment relationship, including terminations, discipline, accommodations, workplace investigations, human rights, health and safety, privacy, and employment standards. She regularly assists employers with employment agreements, workplace policies, and employee handbooks, and represents clients in wrongful dismissal litigation, human rights complaints, and labour disputes.
Courtney works with employers and HR leaders to navigate complex workplace issues and provides clear, practical advice they can act on with confidence. She focuses on helping employers identify and manage risk early, make defensible decisions, and move forward decisively—often before issues escalate into disputes or litigation.
Before joining Hicks Morley, Courtney maintained a broad litigation practice encompassing commercial litigation, labour and employment law, defamation, police law and administrative law, later transitioning to a large firm and focusing her practice entirely on labour and employment law.
