Hicks Morley Welcomes Associate Mornelle Lee

Hicks Morley is pleased to announce that Mornelle Lee has joined the firm as an associate in our Toronto office. Mornelle will advise and represent both public- and private-sector employers on a wide range of employment issues including wrongful dismissal claims, employment standards, workplace safety and insurance, employment contracts, human rights and accommodation, harassment complaints, class actions and related court litigation.

Mornelle received her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor. As a law student, she worked as a student caseworker at Legal Assistance of Windsor where she assisted low-income clients with a variety of legal issues. Mornelle also received several awards for academic achievement including the CCH Prize for Legal Writing and the Samia Rose Shaheen Memorial Award in Legal Writing.

Since being called to the Ontario Bar in 2017, Mornelle has maintained a litigation-heavy practice and has represented clients before various tribunals, Ontario Small Claims Court, Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, Superior Court of Justice and Divisional Court.
