We are pleased to announce that Andrew Zabrovsky will serve as the new leader for the Human Rights Practice Group. Andrew has been an active participant in the human rights PG for many years and much of his practice is dedicated to this area. He is an natural fit for the role and will do an wonderful job despite the tough act he is following.
Andrew is a labour, employment and human rights lawyer in Hicks Morley’s Toronto office. Andrew advises clients in both the public and private sectors on all aspects of their labour and employment relationships, with a specific focus on human rights issues.
Andrew regularly appears as counsel before labour arbitrators, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and in the federal and Ontario civil courts. Andrew regularly provides ongoing advice to clients on legislative compliance with employment standards and human rights legislation, and is one of key resources on compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA). Andrew regularly assists clients with complicated human rights complaints, attendance management, workplace accommodation and workplace harassment issues, and provides training to clients throughout the province on workplace accommodation and workplace investigations.
