Hicks Morley Ranked Canada’s Top Law Firm in Labour & Employment for 2026 by The Globe and Mail

Hicks Morley has been recognized as one of Canada’s Best Law Firms in Labour & Employment and Human Rights for the fifth year in a row by The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business, in partnership with Statista. The firm once again took the top spot in labour and employment, receiving more recommendations than any other firm in the country.

The list recognizes the most widely recommended business law firms in Canada in various legal fields. More than 3,100 lawyers, in-house counsel and legal executives across Canada participated in The Globe and Mail’s survey which asked participants to recommend other law firms and lawyers should they and their own firm be unable to assist a client. To ensure an unbiased assessment, self-recommendations and recommendations of a lawyer’s own law firm were not allowed. Canada’s best law firms were then identified based on the number of recommendations they received for a respective legal field.
