Hicks Morley Welcomes Six New Associates to the Firm
Hicks Morley is pleased to announce that six new associates have joined the firm in our Toronto office. Their diverse experiences and dedication will further strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional service and advice to our clients.
Madeline Eskandari graduated from the J.D. program at the University of Toronto as the recipient of four academic awards, including the Laskin Prize in recognition of her being the top-ranking student in constitutional law. As a law student, Madeline served as a research assistant to Professor Yasmin Dawood and as an academic success advisor for the Dean’s Academic Success Program.
Meghan Hawa obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario. At Western Law, Meghan was an avid mooter competing in the Cherniak Cup, the Arnup Cup, the Sopinka Cup, and the Hague Inter-University Law Debate Tournament. Prior to law school, Meghan received a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the University of Ottawa and a Specialized Honours Bachelor of Arts from York University.
Nassima Kaddoura received her Juris Doctor from Western University. While at Western, she competed in several moots, placing first in Ontario’s provincial Arnup Trial Advocacy Competition and second nationally at the Sopinka Cup. Nassima also served as the program coordinator for Pro Bono Students Canada and as a caseworker at the Sport Solution Clinic.
Andrew Schjerning received his Juris Doctor from Western University, where he actively honed his advocacy skills by competing in several moot competitions. During law school, he also worked as a research assistant and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada.
Matthew K. Wronko received his Juris Doctor from Western University. As a law student, he was active in the student community and competed in numerous advocacy competitions. Matthew competed in the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition as a mooter and student-coach. Matthew draws from his competitive advocacy experience to provide his clients with effective, creative, and thoughtful representation.
