Successfully represented a large school board in a labour arbitration where the union sought compensation for expenses employees incurred as a result of switching to remote work at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. All grievances were dismissed.

Successfully defended a paramedic service against union grievances alleging that the employer breached its backfilling requirements under the collective agreement.

Provided strategic advice to school board clients during in-camera board meetings, and to municipal clients during closed-session council meetings.

Regularly appears before the Ontario Labour Relations Board on a variety of construction and non-construction matters including ESA claims, certification applications and status disputes, s. 50 reprisals, etc.

Acted as lead spokesperson in collective bargaining for businesses in various industries.

Successfully renegotiated the collective agreement for full-time support staff across the 24 public colleges throughout Ontario, which covers approximately 12,000 employees.

Regularly advises a large school board in labour matters, many of which involve serial grievors who have a tendency of commencing litigation in several forums at once.

Ongoing representation to clients in the private, public, and municipal sectors in civil litigation, human rights proceedings, labour arbitrations and Ministry of Labour proceedings.

Counsel to various film and television production companies in connection with all employment and labour-related matters.

Successfully represented healthcare, municipal, and private sector clients on multiple grievances relating to breaches of the collective agreement.
