Andrew Schjerning

Andrew Schjerning is a labour and employment lawyer in Hicks Morley’s Toronto office. He advises employers on a broad range of workplace matters, including grievance arbitrations, wrongful and constructive dismissals, employment standards compliance, and human rights issues. Andrew is committed to providing practical and strategic guidance that helps employers navigate complex labour and employment challenges.

Andrew received his Juris Doctor from Western University, where he actively honed his advocacy skills by competing in several moot competitions. During law school, he also gained valuable experience as a research assistant and contributed to the community through volunteering with Pro Bono Students Canada. Andrew summered and articled with Hicks Morley before returning as an associate.

Outside of his practice, Andrew enjoys playing music and trying new Toronto restaurants.
