Brooklyn Hallam

Brooklyn is  a labour and employment lawyer in Hicks Morley’s Waterloo office. She offers advice and representation to employers and management in the public and the private sectors for a wide range of labour, employment and human rights issues.

Brooklyn received her Juris Doctor from Western University where she worked as a supervisor at Community Legal Services. During her time at Western, she was also a student ambassador, research assistant for Professor Wade Wright, and competitor in numerous advocacy competitions including the external labour arbitration competition. Prior to law school, Brooklyn worked as a human resources assistant for a large automotive company where she discovered her love of labour and employment and had the chance to assist facilities in Ontario, Michigan, China and Slovakia.

Brooklyn summered and articled with a large full-service firm before joining Hicks Morley as an associate in 2022.
