Biography
Jennifer Li is a labour and employment lawyer in Hicks Morley’s Toronto office. She advises and represents employers in the public and private sectors on a wide range of matters including employment standards, human rights and accommodation, labour disputes, occupational health and safety, and grievance arbitrations.
Jennifer received her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University. While at Queen’s, Jennifer was an avid mooter, participating as an oralist in three moot competitions. Jennifer also served as a mentor and representative for the Queen’s Asian Law Students’ Association and worked as a caseworker in the Queen’s Elder Law Clinic.
Prior to law school, Jennifer graduated from the University of Toronto with high distinction, where she completed a double major in political science and book and media studies with a minor in English.
Outside of her practice, Jennifer is an avid board game fan and can often be found in Toronto’s various board game cafes.
