Biography
Matthew is a labour and employment lawyer in Hicks Morley’s Toronto office. He provides advice and representation to employers and management on a wide range of labour, employment, and human rights issues. Prior to joining as an Associate, Matthew summered and articled with Hicks Morley.
Matthew graduated from Western University’s Faculty of Law where he was active in the student community and competed in numerous advocacy competitions. As a mooter, and later student-coach, Matthew competed in the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition. Prior to law school, Matthew earned his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Applied Economics at Queen’s University where he was an active member of the Queen’s Debating Union. Matthew draws from his competitive advocacy experience to provide his clients with effective, creative, and thoughtful representation.
In his free time, Matthew enjoys distance running, playing and watching hockey, and adding to his increasingly impractical vinyl record collection.
