Biography
Nicole Nowoselski is a labour and employment lawyer in Hicks Morley’s Toronto office. She is building a practice that includes advice and representation for employers in both the private and public sectors on a wide range of labour and employment issues including grievance arbitrations, labour disputes, wrongful dismissals, and workplace health and safety.
Nicole received her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto. During law school, Nicole was a caseworker at Downtown Legal Services. She assisted low-income individuals with employment and family matters, and represented students at academic appeal hearings. Nicole was also involved in mooting as a competitor and organizer. She competed in the 2021 Honourable Frank W. Callaghan Memorial Moot and was a member of its organization committee in 2022. Nicole was also an editor for the Journal of Law & Equality from 2019–2022.
Nicole summered and articled at the firm before returning as an associate in 2023. Outside of her practice, she enjoys watching science fiction movies and baking unhealthy desserts.
