Biography
Quinn Brown is a labour and employment lawyer in Hicks Morley’s Toronto office. She provides advice and representation to employers in the private and public sectors on a wide range of labour, employment and human rights matters. This includes grievance arbitrations, interest arbitrations, employment litigation, collective bargaining and workplace accommodation.
Quinn regularly appears before labour arbitrators and has appeared before courts and administrative tribunals including the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Federal Court, and the Federal Court of Appeal. She is developing particular expertise in advising and representing clients in the College sector.
Quinn earned her J.D. from Queen’s University where she was recognized for her contribution as a caseworker at Queen’s Legal Aid Clinic and was published in the Phillipe Kirsch Institute Global Justice Journal. Prior to law school, Quinn received her Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University, and worked in research and advocacy roles within the United Nations system. Quinn summered and articled at the firm before returning as an associate in 2022.
