Bowen Ross

Biography

Bowen Ross is currently a second-year student in the J.D. program at the University of Ottawa. He holds a Master of Arts in Public and  International Affairs and an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences in Conflict Studies and
Human Rights with a minor in Political Science from the University of Ottawa. Bowen is returning to Hicks Morley after completing his first-year summer with the firm.

Before pursing law, Bowen worked for Public Safety Canada where he held various roles, including corporate strategic planning advisor and policy advisor focusing on emergency management and countering crime initiatives
He has also completed internships with the Joint Delegation of Canada to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Brussels, Belgium, and with the Human Rights Advocacy Centre in Accra, Ghana. As a law student,
Bowen has volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and has been on the executive committee of the University of Ottawa’s Labour and Employment Law Student Society since his first year.

In his free time, Bowen maintains a balanced lifestyle by staying active in the gym, snowboarding, playing soccer, and exploring his passion for travel.
