Diana Oproescu

Biography

Diana Oproescu is a second-year student at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia, earning a major in sociology and a minor in political science. She went on to complete her Master’s degree in Criminology and Sociolegal Studies at the University of Toronto.

As a law student, Diana has honed her oral advocacy skills through participation in various moot competitions. She secured first placed in the 2024 Lincoln Alexander Negotiation Cup and placed third as a first-year student in the 2025 Canadian National Negotiation Competition. Diana is also an active member of her law school community, currently serving as an Associate Editor of the TMU Law Review.

Outside of work, Diana enjoys exploring new coffee shops, staying active, and reading. She also has an intermediate proficiency in French and Romanian.
