Biography
Leticia Sobue is a recent graduate of the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. Prior to attending law school, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Law and Society from the University of Toronto, graduating with high distinction.
Throughout law school, Leticia was involved in student leadership and advocacy. She served as an executive of the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association Chapter each year, including in her role as President from 2024 to 2025. She is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
Leticia won Best Anglophone Team Not in Finals at the 2026 Gale Moot Cup, competed in the 2025 Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Law Moot, and in the 2024 and 2025 McCarthy Cup. In her first year, she was a finalist in the Lincoln Alexander Cup, the school’s internal negotiation competition.
Outside of work, Leticia enjoys playing volleyball, doing arts and crafts, and watching horror movies.
