Biography
Shahroze Zafar is a JD student at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Ontario. Prior to law school, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Psychology from the University of Toronto, graduating with High Distinction.
At Osgoode, Shahroze has developed a strong foundation in legal research and practice. He has worked as a Research Assistant and as a Student Fellow with the Law Commission of Ontario, contributing to projects involving complex legal and policy analysis. He has also completed an externship at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, where he gained firsthand exposure to court procedures and judicial decision making. Before entering law school, Shahroze worked as a research assistant at Unity Health Toronto, supporting large qualitative and quantitative public health studies.
Shahroze is actively involved in the Osgoode community and regularly participates in advocacy competitions. He sits as a student member of the Osgoode Academic Policy and Planning Committee and is a member of the Student Caucus of Osgoode’s Faculty Council. He has held senior leadership roles across several campus groups and has founded a student club dedicated to trial advocacy, reflecting his strong interest in hands-on litigation and collaborative advocacy.
Outside of law school, Shahroze enjoys exploring new food spots and spending time with his pets.
