Biography
Talia Dixon is a recent graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to attending law school, she graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Women and Gender Studies.
While attending the University of Alberta, Talia was heavily involved on campus, serving as the Vice President of Student Life of the University of Alberta Students Union. This role, among others, fostered her passion for advocacy. As a law student, Talia has volunteered with the Community and Legal Aid Services Program in the Administrative Law division and has served on the executive of the Osgoode International Law Society and the Osgoode Environmental Law Society. During the summer following her first year, Talia had the opportunity to work for a criminal defence firm in Toronto, and in her second year, Talia moved to Amsterdam, where she completed the International and Transnational Law Intensive Program as an Intern with Greenpeace International.
Outside of work, Talia loves to run, do yoga, cuddle up with her cats, Melo and Winnie, and read a good book.
