Successfully represented a financial institution in the Federal Court of Appeal in having an employee’s appeal from a judicial review application dismissed, and upholding an adjudicator’s decision in favour of the employer in an unjust dismissal complaint.

Successfully represented a group of companies in the Court of Appeal in having two proposed representative actions be dismissed on the basis that they were outside the limitation period.

Successfully represented a school board in having an employee’s human rights complaint for discrimination based on race and related grounds dismissed in its entirety after a full hearing.

Represented a financial institution in successfully having an unjust dismissal complaint before the Canada Industrial Relations Board dismissed, on the basis that the Board lacked jurisdiction to hear the complaint because the complainant previously filed a complaint under Part II of the Canada Labour Code.
