Biography
Clare Wooland is a pensions, benefits and compensation lawyer in Hicks Morley’s Toronto office. She provides strategic and practical advice to employers and administrators on the regulatory, governance, taxation and human resources aspects of retirement, group benefits and incentive compensation arrangements.
Clare received her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto. While studying at the University of Toronto, she was an associate editor of the Journal of Law & Equality, volunteered with Law in Action Within Schools and provided campus tours to prospective students as a JD Student Ambassador. Clare received a Bachelor of Science in life sciences with a minor in psychology from Queen’s University and worked at a large Canadian private lending institution in the commercial mortgage department.
Prior to joining Hicks Morley, Clare practised civil litigation at a boutique law firm in Toronto.
