Overview
The Ontario government has released the remaining details of its new licensing framework for temporary help agencies and recruiters under the Employment Standards Act, 2000 (ESA). The new framework will take effect in two stages with the initial application stage beginning July 1, 2023, and the full compliance stage commencing January 1, 2024.
