Biography
Daryl Seupersad is counsel to Hicks Morley in its Toronto office. He has a robust practice focused on expert advice and representation for employers on all aspects of managing workers’ compensation claims as well as complex appeals before the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) Appeals Services Division and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal (WSIAT).
Daryl’s dedication to the field of workers’ compensation law and legal acumen were recognized when he received the prestigious Ron Ellis Award for Excellence in Worker’s Compensation Law from the Ontario Bar Association. This accolade underscores Daryl’s commitment to excellence in advocacy and leadership in the field of workers’ compensation law.
Prior to joining Hicks Morley, Daryl worked at a boutique labour and employment firm where his practice was devoted to assisting employers with their workers’ compensation issues across different industries and jurisdictions.
Outside of his busy practice, Daryl has taught labour and employment law at George Brown College and enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
