Jessica DeForest

Jessica DeForest is a labour and employment lawyer practicing out of Hicks Morley’s Waterloo office. She advises employers on various matters related to litigation, employment law and human rights.

Jessica received her Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Windsor and Detroit Mercy School of Law. She was an active member of her law school community, assuming positions such as General Director of the Windsor Italian Law Association and Business Associate of the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues.

Prior to obtaining her law degrees, Jessica attended McMaster University where she received an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Integrated Business and Humanities. Throughout her career, she has cultivated strong client services skills and approaches matters with a practical, client-focused perspective.

Outside of her practice, Jessica enjoys travelling and playing sports such as volleyball and golf.
