Stephen Shamie Quoted in Law Times
Hicks Morley’s Stephen Shamie was quoted in the January 19, 2015 edition of Law Times in an article entitled “Guarded optimism for 2015.” The article discusses the implications the uncertain economic conditions may have on Canadian Law firms, as the oil and gas prices fall and the Canadian dollar drops. The article explains that many law firms are ‘expressing guarded optimism that they’ll be able to weather the storm and continue to adapt to changing markets this year.’ Stephen is “cautiously optimistic about 2015.” He states that “As a specialty boutique law firm, many of the pressures experienced by full-service law firms simply do not apply in our case. We have focused on our core strengths over the years, which has served us well.”
