Successfully represented a college at the Federal Court in its application for judicial review of a decision by Employment and Social Development Canada, in which it held that the college was subject to federal jurisdiction for labour relations purposes.

Successfully represented a financial institution in responding to an application for judicial review, as well as the subsequent appeal, of a decision by the Canadian Human Rights Commission relating to claims of discrimination on the basis of disability and/or sexual orientation.
Successfully represented a financial institution in its motion to strike out a defamation claim on the basis that it was untenable.
Successfully represented a not-for profit organization in its motion to strike out a claim against one of its board members in their personal capacity.
Successfully represented a university in responding to an application for judicial review of a decision by the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, in which the Tribunal found that the applicant’s complaint was out of time.
Successfully represented a personal health services company in a discovery plan motion, as well as a motion to narrow the certified common issues, in a class action relating to vacation pay and public holiday pay.
Successfully represented an animal welfare agency in its motion to expunge unredacted versions of documents containing information over which solicitor-client privilege had been claimed.
Presented grievance arbitration on issues including performance pay and interaction with hour before and hour after.
Negotiated collective agreements with International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) for multiple performing arts centres.
Successfully reversed the WSIB’s decision to levy a Fatal Claim Premium Adjustment against an employer.
