Biography
Jamie Scoler is an associate in Hicks Morley’s Toronto office, where she is developing a practice in labour, employment and human rights law. She provides advice and advocacy support on workplace matters affecting employers in the public and private sectors.
Jamie earned her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University. As a law student, Jamie served as the junior editor for the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal. Jamie also represented and advocated for clients in a variety of matters as a case worker for the Queen’s Legal Aid Clinic. Before law school, she earned an Honours Bachelor’s degree from Western University, double majoring in Political Science and the School for Advanced Studies in the Arts and Humanities (SASAH). She graduated with the Gold Medal for the highest academic standing in the program. Jamie returned to Hicks Morley as an associate after completing her articles with the firm.
Outside of work, Jamie can be found hiking with her dog, doing hot yoga and cooking her way through her favourite cookbooks.
