Hicks Morley Welcomes Eight New Associates to the Firm

Hicks Morley is pleased to announce that eight new associates have joined the firm in our Toronto office. Their diverse experiences and dedication will further strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional service and advice to our clients.

Andrew Campbell received his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where he also served as the Co-Chair of the labour and employment law student society and volunteered at the Faculty’s legal clinic.

Bradley Gavin-Williams obtained his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. Prior to law school, Bradley attended the University of Toronto for his undergraduate degree. He also had a previous career in a unionized retail environment, shaping the practical advice he gives clients today.

Matthew Healey received his Juris Doctor at the University of Western Ontario where he successfully participated in several advocacy competitions. For nearly a decade before becoming a lawyer, Matt worked as a labour and employee relations professional for large public and private organizations.

Christopher Howard earned his Juris Doctor with distinction from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. During law school, He also gained labour relations experience at a healthcare organization.

Ruvanya Kasturiarachchi obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa’s English Common Law Program. Prior to law school, she developed her interest in labour and employment law while working in the Customer Care Department of the Crown Corporation for Workplace Insurance in Ontario.

Joseph Olij received his Juris Doctor at Western University. While in law school, he worked as a case manager with the Western Business Law Clinic, gaining practical experience supporting clients with business-related legal matters.

Jamie Scoler obtained her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University. As a law student, Jamie served as the junior editor for the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal. Jamie also represented and advocated for clients in a variety of matters as a case worker for the Queen’s Legal Aid Clinic.

Stephen Warner earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario, receiving awards for his academic standing in labour and employment law courses as well as for excellence in legal research and writing in administrative law. Throughout law school, Stephen volunteered with the Elgin–Oxford Legal Clinic, assisting with the representation of individuals in appeals before the Social Benefits Tribunal. He also brings previous experience working in government agencies.
