Ruvanya Kasturiarachchi

Ruvanya Kasturiarachchi is a labour and employment lawyer in Hicks Morley’s Toronto office. She is building a practice that includes providing advice and representation to employers on a wide range of issues such as grievance arbitration, labour disputes, wrongful and constructive dismissals, employment standards, and human rights.

Ruvanya obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa’s English Common Law Program. Prior to law school, she developed her interest in labour and employment law while working in the Customer Care Department of the Crown Corporation for Workplace Insurance in Ontario, where she provided assistance related to disability management, wage loss benefits, and return to work inquiries.

Ruvanya summered and articled with Hicks Morley before retuning as an associate. Outside of practice, she enjoys travelling, attending live music events, and exploring local cafes.
