The Schedule 2 Employers’ Group Conference gathers employers from across Ontario to learn about current issues and new advancements in the fields of workers’ compensation, disability management, health & safety, and workplace wellness.
In “Multiple Fronts: When WSIB Claims Management and Workplace Management Intersect”, Mariana Kamenetsky and Ruvanya Kasturiarachchi will discuss the issues that arise when workplace injuries and employment decisions overlap. The session will address terminations, reprisal claims, frustration of contract, layoffs and restructuring. Participants will also gain practical guidance on WSIB file management and the evidence needed to support workplace decisions.
