Joe Olij

Joseph Olij is a labour and employment lawyer practising out of Hicks Morley’s Toronto office. He provides advice and representation to employers in the public and private sectors on a range of labour, employment and human rights matters.

Joseph joined Hicks Morley as an articling student after completing his Juris Doctor at Western University. While in law school, he worked as a case manager with the Western Business Law Clinic, gaining practical experience supporting clients with business-related legal matters.

Before attending law school, Joseph earned an Honours Business Administration degree from the Ivey Business School at Western University. His combined legal and business education provides him with a practical perspective on the organizational and operational considerations that can arise in workplace matters.

Outside of work, Joseph can be found staying active, whether in the gym or on a soccer field. He is also an avid Toronto sports fan.
