As part of the Human Resources Seminar on June 15, Alia Rashid will provide a timely legal update on the evolving standards that define a fair process in “Duty to Investigate: What the Latest Cases are Telling Us.” Alia will review recent case law and highlight the best practices to mitigate legal risks, while offering practical guidance to help institutions strengthen their investigative processes and meet rising expectations around accountability.
On June 16, Evan Howard will hold an interactive session “Difficult Conversations in Academia: Proactive Approaches for Fair, Compliant, and Constructive Engagement. ” Participants will explore strategies for planning and addressing challenging conversations in ways that uphold accountability and collegiality. Evan will cover key legal and procedural considerations to support effective institutional communication.
