Hicks Morley’s Kayley Leon will act as the program chair for the Canadian Bar Association’s session on emerging and key legal issues in sports.
This unique session is part of the Ontario Bar Association’s Entertainment, Media and Communications Law program. The expert panel will share helpful advice for sports lawyers on crossover legal topics including the following:
- governance, labour and employment matters
- safe sport
- name, image and likeness rights issues facing sports entities
- practical challenges athletes may encounter at later stages of their careers
