100 Accomplished Black Canadian Women Names Njeri Damali Sojourner-Campbell One of Its 2020 Honourees
Hicks Morley is pleased to announce that Njeri Damali Sojourner-Campbell was named by 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Women as one of its 2020 honourees.
The 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Women award highlights, documents, acknowledges and supports Black Canadian women for their social, educational, political and professional accomplishments. A virtual gala was held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 to recognize and celebrate the 2020 honourees.
An emerging thought leader in human rights law, Njeri is currently advising several of our firm’s clients engaged in human rights and equity restructuring initiatives.
She believes in the transformative power of legal professionals and is committed to creating a more equitable professional community with a focus on the experiences of Black 2LGBTQI* lawyers.
Njeri is the founder of UJIMA Mentorship Circle which supports the professional development of Black law students and legal professionals at the commencement of their practice.
Njeri thanks her ancestors, family, wife, mentors and her colleagues at the firm for their support in her journey and is committed to paying it forward.
