Jarren Fefer

Biography

Jarren Fefer is a second-year student and current R. Douglas Elliott fellow at the University of Toronto. Before attending law school, he graduated from McGill University with distinction, where he studied psychology. Jarren grew up in Montréal and is bilingual.

As a law student, Jarren has been an active member of the University of Toronto’s moot team, and has been selected to represent his school at competitions twice. He first won the Hicks Morley Cup as a 1L and proceeded to make it to the finals at the Wilson Moot as a 2L. Jarren is also a co-president of the University of Toronto’s chapter of OutLaws, where he supports the law school in creating an inclusive and dynamic environment for 2SLGBTQ+ students.

Outside of work, Jarren enjoys staying active by going to the gym, swimming and skiing in the winters. He is also an avid chef and may often be found tinkering with new recipes in his kitchen.
