Biography

Lukas Furlan received his Juris Doctor from Queen’s University. Prior to law school, he earned his Honours Bachelor of Arts from Queen’s University, where he majored in political science and graduated with distinction. After his undergraduate degree, Lukas worked in a variety of roles for a Toronto home services start-up, which sparked his interest in labour and employment law.

As a law student, Lukas was involved with the Queen’s Business Law Clinic as a student volunteer, caseworker and, thereafter, group leader/mentor. Lukas also worked throughout his degree as a research assistant and participated in the Bowman National Tax Moot. After his first year of law school, Lukas worked in a business development role for a legal technology start-up and following his second year he was a summer student at a boutique litigation firm in Toronto.

Outside of work, Lukas enjoys staying active in the gym, on the ski hill or trekking through the mountains. He also enjoys travelling and exploring new restaurants around the city.
