Biography
Zachary Demers is a graduate of Western University’s Faculty of Law. Prior to attending law school, Zachary graduated with high distinction from the University of Toronto as a double major in criminology and philosophy.
As a law student at Western, Zachary competed as an oralist in the 2022 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Western placed third in Canada at the national rounds and top eight in the international rounds. Zachary also served as a student coach for Western in the 2023 competition. Zachary was also involved with the Western Journal of Legal Studies throughout law school, including as the 2022–2023 deputy editor-in-chief.
Outside of work, Zachary can be found exercising, playing and writing music, or dining at one of Toronto’s many restaurants.
