Canadian HR Reporter quoted Hicks Morley’s Diane Harbin in an article titled, “Exemptions to hours of work take effect Jan. 1.”

Affecting about six percent of the Canadian workforce, Diane notes that after consultation with employer groups, union groups and employee groups in affected industries, the government realized there was a need for greater flexibility and introduced new regulations.
