Overview
This webinar will focus on the changes to Ontario’s Employment Standards Act, 2000 as a result of Bill 27, Working for Workers Act, 2021.

In this Advantage CPD webinar, we will discuss and analyze:
- the amendments to the Employment Standards Act, 2000
- the changes related to the prohibition of non-compete agreements and what employers need to know
- the licensing and other regulatory changes for temporary help agencies and recruiters, which are not yet in force
- the requirement to have disconnecting from work policies for a workplace, and what employers need to consider when drafting their own policies
Learning Objectives
After attending this webinar, audience members will be well-versed in the amendments to the Employment Standards Act, 2000 resulting from Bill 27. The webinar will provide attendees with the ability to issue, spot or address the new changes in your own workplace, and provide you with guidance on how to prepare for the changes as we await (at the time of writing) further government guidance and/or a regulation.
This webinar will include an interactive Q&A feature. A panel discussion will be built into the last 15 minutes of the session to address audience questions that were submitted.
