With constantly evolving employer obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), including the recent coming into force of new substantive workplace harassment legislation, it is becoming increasingly difficult for companies to keep up with their health and safety obligations.

In this Advantage CPD session, we will take you through some of the hot topic Occupational Health and Safety issues employers are currently facing including:
- What to expect now that the OHSA changes in Bill 132 (Sexual Harassment Legislation) are now in force
- Recent application of workplace violence legislation in the case law since Bill 168
- Other pressing OHSA issues facing employers today
The session will include a structured Q&A panel discussion. Our presenters will also remain behind for any informal discussions you may wish to have.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this seminar, attendees will have a better understanding of employer obligations related to workplace violence and harassment, how those obligations have been interpreted in recent years, and what we can expect going forward with the recently-introduced legislation. They will also gain insight into some of the other key OHSA issues that employers struggle with, and how to get a handle on all of their health and safety obligations.
